Forging avenues for economic prosperity, Ms. Aalia Jafar, Director of International Relations, represented ICCIA in the 9th ministerial conference on food security and agriculture, hosted by the State of Qatar, in the presence of 41 OIC member states and 9 international organisations.
During her participation, Ms. Aalia shared updates on ICCIA’s three major projects:
1- Green waqf initiative which involves redirecting funds towards initiatives that promote sustainability and contribute to positive social and environmental outcomes.
2- Islamic Chamber Halal Services which aims to strengthen the halal sector across OIC member states.
3- Islamic Microfinance Institutions establishment which will provide access to finance to the most vulnerable geographies such as the G5 Sahel counties.
